The TA366 Desiccator combines our TA356 Humidity Indicator with a porous plastic desiccant cartridge. The increased surface area provided by the porous plastic cartridge increases moisture adsorption rates when compared to a desiccator with a solid cartridge.
Various cartridge tube lengths from 1″ up to 9″ (or in some cases more) can be provided to meet specific adsorption or space requirements. Each inch of cartridge contains approximately 5 grams of desiccant. The condition of the desiccant is monitored by the humidity indicator card. Assemblies can be supplied with either silica gel or molecular sieve desiccant, and with a variety of different humidity indicator cards.

This desiccator mounts through a 1.05″ (26 mm) diameter hole or into a mounting flange, 658800.
Specify the type of desiccant, cartridge length (shown as nominal length “A” in the drawing below), and humidity indicator card in the part number. For example, TA366-MS4-123P is a TA366 desiccator with a 4″-long cartridge filled with molecular sieve and fitted with a 10%-20%-30% pie sector humidity indicator card; TA366-SG2.5-40 is a TA366 desiccator with a 2.5”-long cartridge filled with silica gel and fitted with a 40% humidity indicator card.
NOTE: This desiccator is not refillable. Replacement cartridges can be ordered by designating “RC”, desiccant type, and cartridge length. For instance, the replacement cartridges for the desiccators listed in the previous paragraph are TA366-RC-MS4 and TA366-RC-SG2.5.
Hex nut is standard.
The TA366 Desiccator is appropriate for use on NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 5, 6, 12, 12K, and 13 enclosures, as well as I66/IP67 enclosures. This item may also be appropriate for use on other NEMA or IP enclosures, depending upon the application. Customized versions available upon request.
