Howard N Stewart

Howard N. Stewart is the President & CEO of AGM, a Tucson-based Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company. AGM manufactures environmental control hardware for missiles, nuclear reactors, and the International Space Station. AGM also has an Access & Mobility Division that produces Ascension wheelchair lifts and the “Omeo,” a hands-free, self-balancing wheelchair.

In 2021, Howard was named “Arizona’s Transformational Leader of the Year” for his cutting-edge tuition assistance model, motivating up to 27% of AGM’s workforce to attend college annually.

Previously, he was named Southern Arizona’s CEO of the Year and AGM was recognized as “America’s Best Small Business of the Year” by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 2009.

Howard actively contributes to various civic non-profits, including chairing the United Way’s annual Giving Campaign and serving on the Southern Arizona Leadership Council. He is also a long-term mentor for the Emerging Leadership Council
