These versatile, utilitarian hooks can be used in many applications, but the most common is to tie down roof racks on vehicles. Intended for use with 1” wide webbing, their flat hook design can attach to small beams or bars up to 3/4 inch wide or fit into slots as narrow as 1/4 inch. The zinc plated version, K464, provides excellent corrosion resistance, meeting service condition 3 of ASTM B633. The K464-50 is a vinyl coated version of the K464 and is normally used to protect the finish of the mating item. The K466 is the same as the K464 except it is heat treated for increased strength. |
