This Humidity Indicator Plug was created for high pressure applications.  The glass window is fused directly to the steel body and the 3/4-14 pipe thread is tapered for leak tight installations without o-rings or gaskets.  The plug is easily installed in a threaded boss with a 1-1/8" socket wrench.  The indicator card in this plug is protected from contamination by a porous filter and a polyethylene spacer.  The Humidity Indicator card, filter and spacer are held in place by a retaining ring.

Lock nuts and gaskets are not supplied with this plug. It is designed for a threaded boss only.

TA284 is appropriate for use on NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 5, 6, 12, 12K, and 13 enclosures, as well as IP66/IP67 enclosures. This item may also be appropriate for use on other NEMA or IP enclosures, depending upon the application. Contact AGM's Engineering department for more information.
