Breather Valve TA289
TA289 Breather Valve The TA289 is AGM's smallest Breather Valve.  It was designed to meet the need for smaller packages requiring a two-way valve.  For use on transit cases and similar applications up to 5 cubic feet in volume.  The TA289 Breather Valve has separate and distinct settings for both pressure and vacuum relief.  It has a flow rate of 0.6 scfm at a pressure of 3.5 psi to 4.0 psi above the valve setting.  Standard settings range from 0.5 psid to 3.0 psid reseal pressure.

The valve requires no field maintenance.  Corrosion-resistant materials are used throughout.  The valve seal is made of silicone rubber.  Intended for use in threaded bosses, each valve comes complete with an environmental o-ring.  An optional mounting unit is available upon request.  May also be supplied with an optional desiccant cartridge up to 3" in length with a choice of desiccant materials. RFI versions are also available.

Materials and Finish: Housing and hex nut are aluminum alloys.  Standard finish is black anodize.  Torque value for installation: 20 in. - lbs. (3.0 N•m)  Weight: 0.02 lbs. (8.4 grams)
