Step 1

To thread over-center buckle, hold handle vertically with rivets at top. Swing wire bale down against top of handle.

Insert pull tab into lower slot of handle, then back out through upper slot.

Take up slack with pull tab while handle is in open position.

Rotate handle to closed postion to apply and lock in tension.

To thread the over-center buckle, hold the buckle vertically with the rivets at the top, and swing the wire bale forward until it is down against the top of the handle.

Then, insert the strap from the back into the lower slot of the handle and pull through the front.

Next, insert the strap from the front into the upper slot of the handle and pull through the back.

While the buckle is still open, remove slack from the strap by pulling the end of the strap through the back of the over-center buckle until the strap is suitably tight.

Finally, pull the over-center buckle handle backwards to the closed position to lock the strap tension.

To release tension on the strap, lift the over-center buckle handle to unlock the tension and pull the strap.
