5 Named as Inaugural AGM ‘Supplier of the Year Award’ Recipients
This past February, AGM Container Controls, Inc. (AGM) notified five of their suppliers from 2016 that they had been selected to receive AGM’s new Supplier of the Year Award. According to Howard Stewart, AGM’s President and CEO, the award program is a new annual initiative by AGM to recognize an elite corps of the company’s suppliers for their commitment to excellence throughout the previous year.
Suppliers were required to have supplied AGM with a minimum of $50,000 worth of material over the course of at least 10 orders throughout 2016. In addition, suppliers were required to maintain a minimum of a 95% quality rating as well as at least a 90% on-time delivery rating. Incidentally, out of the 253 active suppliers to AGM in 2016, only five qualified for the company’s Supplier of the Year Award.
Each recipient of AGM’s Supplier of the Year Award will receive a personalized trophy, a personal letter of appreciation from Stewart, as well as recognition for their achievement on AGM’s website and social media pages. AGM’s Suppliers of the Year for 2016 are:

- All-New Stamping (El Monte, CA)
- Protective Packaging Corporation (Carrollton, TX)
- Shelli Industries (Tucson, AZ)
- West Coast Metal Stamping (Placentia, CA)
