These Access Ports provide access to desiccant, data, accessory storage areas or for diagnostic testing of contents in containers, eliminating the labor of opening the container and reducing the exposure of the contents to hostile environments.  In addition, they can be used as temporary through-holes for cabling and tubing. This larger version of our time-tested TA495 has a clear opening of 4.80" (122 mm) diameter.  Access Port is installed through a 5.52" (140 mm) dia. hole.  Gasket, washer and mounting nut are furnished.

Designed for mounting on a smooth, flat surface; may not seal tightly if surface is curved, domed or too rough.

Tamper-Proof: Holes through cover and flange of Access Port are provided for safety wiring and inspector's seal.

Materials and Finishes: Aluminum alloys, conversion coated per MIL-C-5541.  Stainless steel cover, passivated.  Buna-N o-ring and gasket.  Weight: 1.55 lbs. (703 grams)  Torque Value for Spanner Nut: 200 in. - lbs. (22.50 N•m)

The TA595 (solid cover) is appropriate for use on NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 5, 6, 12, 12K, and 13 enclosures, as well as I66/IP67 enclosures.
